Pet owners’ animal instinct not enough when disasters strike
Pet owners are being urged to have a clear plan for what to do with their animals if a natural disaster strikes.
James Cook University researchers conducted a survey of 242 pet owners in Townsville, a Queensland city regularly exposed to natural disasters such as cyclones and floods.
