Perth real estate: Properties for rent at lowest levels in eight years – PerthNow
House prices are showing growth, while Perth’s rental market could be heading for a crisis. REIWA’s September update has all you need to know.
PERTHS rental shortage has gone from reasonable to severe according to Real Estate Institute of WA (REIWA) president Damian Collins, with listings at the lowest levels since 2012.
They fell 8 per cent to 2926 in September according to REIWA data.
With Perths vacancy rate sitting at 1.3 per cent, it is no surprise that we are seeing listings for rent continue to lower, Mr Collins said.
