Cleanaway shares climbed by 8 per cent on Wednesday to $2.42 in late trade on Wednesday after a solid full-year result where the group’s profit margins were ahead of analysts’ expectations.
Revenue rose 2.1 per cent to $2.33 billion, while net profit fell 6.6 per cent to $113 million. The company lifted its final dividend to 2.1¢ from 1.9¢ and will pay it on October 6.
