A loss to the Brumbies hasn’t dimmed Rob Penney’s view of his young starting team but there are a number of changes on the NSW bench for their match against the Rebels.

Halfback Jake Gordon returns on the bench from a hamstring injury, which means Michael McDonald drops off.
However, hooker Abel and back-rower Harris have been left out altogether having started on the pine last week. Penney said Abel was not available to due to personal reasons and Harris has an ankle sprain that excluded him from selection.
It is a cruel blow for Harris, who slipped off the tackle which saw Brumbies reserve halfback Issak Fines sneak through and score the match-winner at ANZ…
