Former Knights captain Mitchell Pearce’s horror off-season has sunk to new depths after he suffered a thumb injury at training that requires surgery.
The veteran playmaker hurt his thumb in a mishap at training last week and will go under the knife on Wednesday.
Mitchell Pearce will today undergo surgery to his right thumb following a training incident last week, the Knights said in a statement.
