Paul Bettany has admitted that he didn’t think his Marvel TV-spinoff WandaVision was ever going to be the success that it is on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The actor, who stars as Marvel superhero Vision on the series, said he did “absolutely not” think the show was going to be popular, instead suggesting it would be one of many spin-off series that would simply exist outside of the Marvel canon.
