Parramatta thrashes Brisbane Broncos 46-6, Benji Marshall inspires South Sydney to 40-30 NRL win over Gold Coast

Maika Sivo has scored a hat-trick and Bryce Cartwright enjoyed one of his best NRL matches in recent years as Parramatta thumped an error-riddled Brisbane 46-6 in stifling Darwin heat on Friday night.
Earlier in the evening, the evergreen Benji Marshall helped guide South Sydney to a 40-30 win over the Titans in an entertaining encounter on the Gold Coast.
In just his third match for the Eels, Cartwright tipped the ball on for Sivo to score in the first half, then scored his first try since round five last year.
After a horror few years with the Titans, Cartwright has warmed into his form for the Eels and again showed signs against the Broncos he may fulfil his potential.
