Parents of teen killed in stolen car make heartwarming gesture to family who were robbed
The parents of a teen who died in a crash after allegedly stealing a car have donated money to the family who were robbed.
The 18-year-old died after he veered off the road and crashed the white Mitsubishi Outlander into a tree on Tuesday at Kulangoor, on the Sunshine Coast.
It’s believed the teen stole the vehicle from DeAnne and Kerry Pokarier’s home in Nambour, breaking into their home while the family was sleeping.
They only discovered what happened when police arrived.
