Tevita Pangai Jr is allegedly just one player at the centre of a much larger “rift” at Red Hill, according to prominent commentator Phil Gould and senior journalist Andrew Webster.

And Webster says Pangai is skating on such thin ice he may not even be able to get a new contract registered with the NRL for next year.
The 24-year-old firebrand forward has been stood down indefinitely and fined $30,000 for breaching coronavirus protocols to attend the opening of a barbershop a fortnight ago, said to be affiliated with a bikies gang in Brisbane.
