PA Hospital nurse found COVID-positive after receiving first vaccine dose

A Brisbane nurse has tested positive for COVID-19 11 days after receiving a dose of the vaccine for the virus.
The woman was vaccinated on March 19 before she was revealed as one of two new community cases on Wednesday.
She works in the Princess Alexandra Hospital COVID ward, where another nurse was earlier found positive.
“We’re now working through whether this second nurse in that cluster acquired it on the ward,” the state’s Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said.
