Overcast and a bit breezy at the river mouth with a 7 to 10 knot easterly blowing. Sloppy and choppy in the bay and on the bar with the modest wind driven swell catching quite a few small boat skippers by surprise. Also a surprising number of boats crossed outside the channel (on the groyne side) which didn’t help. No dramas though, just a few wet ones and one spectacular aerial.
