Over half of New York City’s firefighters say they will refuse the COVID-19 vaccine when it initially comes out, a survey by the FDNY’s union found.

- Over half of the New York City Fire Department says they will refuse the first round of the vaccine, according to a survey by its union, Uniformed Firefighters Association.
- The NY Post reported the UFA surveyed 2,053 firefighters (around 25% of its members) and 55% said they would not take the COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes available.
