Local residents have taken to social media to express their outrage over a cafes exorbitant prices for toast.
The Goodsline, a new cafe on 21 Harris St in Ultimo, Sydney, is already attracting controversy by charging customers $16 for toast and butter.
Toast and choice of condiment, served with Pepe Saya butter, the menu reads.
One canny resident pointed out that it would be cheaper to buy toast and eggs, which was priced at $13 on the menu, rather than just plain toast.
