South Australia has gone “hard and early” with a range of new COVID-19 restrictions as officials scramble to bring an emerging cluster of infections under control.
Premier Steven Marshall said the situation was dangerous and time was of the essence in dealing with the outbreak which currently stands at 17 cases.
“It’s hard, it’s early. But I hope to have these in place for as short a time as possible,” he said on Monday.
“If we act quickly and decisively I’m hopeful we can get this under control…
