Oppo has been able to capitalize on Huaweis US-inflicted woes to become the top smartphone vendor in China for the first time. According to the latest data from Counterpoint Research, Oppo came out on top in the month of January with a 21 percent share of the market. It was followed closely by Huawei and Vivo which both recorded a 20 percent share. Although the US trade ban has undoubtedly undermined Huaweis past dominance, it is still hanging on in the face of adversity.
