Donald Trump has nominated yet another controversial candidate for the board of the Federal Reserve. This time he might be successful.
Stephen Moore, a conservative economics commentator who had been found in contempt of court in 2012 for unpaid alimony, who was being pursued by the Internal Revenue Service for unpaid taxes and who was accused of denigrating women in articles he had written, also failed to gain a seat in 2019 when Trump decided not to nominate him.
