UK retailer Very says a technical error allowed the consoles to be purchased
UK retailer Very has canceled 1,000 PS5 and Xbox Series X orders that were reportedly placed by console scalpers.
According to Eurogamer, Crep Chief Notify (CCN) claimed to have purchased over 1,000 Xbox Series X consoles from “a very well known online retailer.” CCN charges a subscription to help scalpers get their hands on sought-after items like PS5 and Xbox Series X and resell them at a higher price.
