He’s been dropped to reserve grade and now under-fire Wests Tigers centre Joey Leilua has been told he has just “one month to save his career”.
Leilua spent the summer shedding weight after the COVID-19 shutdown saw him balloon in size after he ate takeaway chicken burgers twice a day.
But while his body has been on the money, his application in game has been called into question.
