‘Once-in-a-lifetime’ opportunity for Queensland; compensation for Victoria – The Age
The MCG and Victoria will receive compensation, as the Queensland Premier said hosting the grand final was a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity”.

The Age has been told by league sources that the MCG will also receive two extra games in each of 2022 and 2023.
The national draft is also included in the deal. Victoria will host two of the next three drafts, which have become two-day television events.
