On Thursday (17 October), our crews joined forces with emergency services to undertake one of our most complex emergency preparedness exercises yet on the rail network. ???????????? In conjunction with Queensland Police Service, Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS), Queensland Fire and Emergency Services – QFES, Queensland Government Air and Queensland Health, our crews responded to a simulated train incident along the rugged and remote Kuranda Range. With safety Queensland Rail’s highest priority, the exercise provided a unique opportunity to test our response plans and procedures in the unlikely event of an emergency situation on our network. A massive thanks goes to all the participants involved!
