On Monday 22 February 2021, Rear Admiral Mark Hill, CSC, RAN, Commander Maritime Border Command (MBC) and Vice Admiral Aan Kurnia, Chief of Indonesian Coast Guard (BAKAMLA) participated in a video conference.
During the conference RADM Hill and VADM Kurnia reaffirmed the strong relationship between MBC and Indonesia Coast Guard and agreed to continue working on issues of mutual interest to strengthen maritime domain awareness and maritime border protection between both countries.Australia and Indonesia share the world’s longest maritime boundary.
