On April 5th the QGAir Townsville Helicopter received a task to retrieve a critically ill Japanese National from a LNG bulk carrier ship 50nm north east of Willis island. After two refuels at Willis Island and a 1,258km round trip, the patient was transported to Townsville Hospital in a stable condition.
