The Atlanta 1996 silver medallist was taken to Newtown police station where he is expected to be charged.
The Drugs and Firearms Squad commander John Watson said police seized drugs and cash from the Rozelle premises and drug paraphernalia and a small amount of other drugs in Balmain.
The 45-year-old, its alleged that he was the director of the syndicate, hes calling the shots, Detective Superintendent Watson said. Its alleged that this particular syndicate was intent on distributing drugs from Sydney, bound for regional NSW.
