Oliver to replace Williams in Futurity Stakes
Another of Craig Williams Group 1 rides next Saturday at Caulfield has been replaced with Grand Syndicates Sam Lyons announcing on Sunday morning via social media that Damien Oliver would partner their star galloper Behemoth in the $500,000 G1 Futurity Stakes (1400m).
Williams rode Behemoth in his two Group 1 victories in the spring but two suspensions within a week will see him miss Saturday’s Blue Diamond program at Caulfield.
