Older people wanted for expanded UQ COVID-19 vaccine trial – Brisbane Times
Researchers at UQ are expanding their phase one trial of their vaccine candidate, calling for 96 people aged 56 and older to take part to get more data.

Phase one trials are always about safety analysis, and younger members of the population are always included, Professor Young said.
People over 55 are usually included in later phase clinical studies. Were bringing this forward to inform the accelerated program of clinical phase trials, so with this data well be able to progress those more quickly.
