‘Old school’: NRL legends defend ‘terrific’ tackle gone wrong – Fox Sports
Cowboys winger Kyle Feldt is facing a suspension after a strong tackle on Dragons centre Jack Bird went wrong at the last second.
In the first half of their clash in Townsville Feldt rushed up to shut down Bird on a Dragons attacking raid, but his lifting tackle tipped Bird above the horizontal at the last moment.
It was a terrific tackle and in a millisecond it just goes fractionally wrong, Michael Ennis said on Fox League.
