Officer in Charge and Field Officer Deidree Whap was one of the first resident’s in the Torres Strait to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as it’s being rolled out up north.

We’re very proud for Deidree to lead the way for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples in the pathway toward combating COVID-19. With her example, we’re hoping more locals in our Torres and Cape region will come forward and roll up their sleeves.
