Off to a flyer: Raiders’ 11th-hour request for flight to Sydney gets green light – Sydney Morning Herald
The NRL will foot the bill for the chartered flight after the club lodged a formal application on Wednesday to help with a five-day turnaround.
The club was originally provided with flights when it used Campbelltown for home games and buses for away trips. At one stage the club reverted to the latter for home games too after the players told Stuart they felt more comfortable travelling by road.
Each NRL club was asked to provide details on charter flights they would require for matches before the competition reboot in May.
