#NZQUAKE | A marine warning has been issued for Norfolk Island after a 8.1 magnitude earthquake that struck upper northern island of New Zealand

This warning is for the marine environment of Norfolk Island there is the possibility of
DANGEROUS RIPS, WAVES AND STRONG OCEAN CURRENTS, AND SOME LOCALISED OVERFLOW ONTO
THE IMMEDIATE FORESHORE commencing after 10:00 am (local_time) Friday and
persisting for several hours.
