New Zealand’s health authorities are investigating whether a laundry worker could have contracted the highly-infectious UK strain of the disease while washing clothing and linen that had come from an international aircraft.
The Auckland woman (who does not appear to have had any direct contact with any travellers herself) has tested positive to the British variant, along with her husband and daughter.
The outbreak has put an end to quarantine-free travel between Australia and New Zealand as residents…
