NT Parliament passes ICAC motion, despite warning from clerk
The Northern Territory Parliament has passed a motion allowing the Territory’s anti-corruption watchdog to examine the electronic devices of Labor MLA Mark Turner, despite Parliament’s clerk warning members to “proceed with extreme caution”.

The motion passed with the support of Labor and CLP opposition MPs on Thursday after they had received separate advice from the Territory’s Solicitor-General that it was within their powers to vote on the issue.
