NT man imprisoned after threatening remote community with shotgun

A Northern Territory man has been sentenced to prison after attacking a family member with a tyre lever, threatening to shoot people with a shotgun, and dangerously driving a Toyota four-wheel drive, all while heavily intoxicated in a remote community earlier this year.

In the NT Supreme Court, 27-year-old Nathan Sams pleaded guilty to three charges, including being armed in public, reckless conduct that gave rise to a danger of death, and unlawful assault.
