NT ICAC Commissioner Ken Fleming says office has received 1,000 complaints

The NT’s first Independent Commissioner Against Corruption (ICAC) says his office has received 1,000 complaints in the two years since its inception — but only one in four has led to an active investigation.

In July 2018, Ken Fleming QC was appointed as the head of the NT’s anti-corruption watchdog.
During his tenure, Mr Fleming said the volume of reports about improper conduct his team received had not slowed and on Thursday his office received its 1,000th complaint.
