NT health organisations question decision to quarantine foreign military in Darwin hotel

An Aboriginal health service and the Australian Medical Association have raised concerns about quarantining more than 200 foreign military personnel and their families at an undisclosed facility in Darwin’s CBD, instead of the Howard Springs quarantine centre.

The personnel, who are expected to take part in an international training program organised by the Australian Defence College, began arriving in the Top End yesterday, where they are required to spend two weeks in quarantine.
