NSW records 35 new COVID-19 cases as state lockdown reaches halfway mark
NSW has recorded 35 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8:00pm yesterday.
Nine of those cases were active in the community while infectious.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the latest figures showed the lockdown, which began a week ago, was “doing what we hoped it would”.
