NSW records 10 new local coronavirus cases as authorities flag new infection sites – SBS News
New Year’s Eve celebrations in Sydney will be subdued as the COVID-19 clusters in the Northern Beaches and Inner West continue to grow.

NSW residents are being urged not to risk new restrictions being imposed on the entire state next year by attending New Year’s Eve functions if they have any coronavirus symptoms, as the state recorded 10 new cases overnight.
Five of the new cases are linked to the Avalon cluster and are close contacts of previous cases, taking the total for the cluster to 144.
One locally-acquired case is a close contact of one of the two patient transport drivers reported previously.
