NSW, QLD BOM warnings of severe storms amid clean-up after wild weather
Queensland and New South Wales residents have been warned of possible severe storms, as the clean up continues from the past five days of wild weather.
A warning was issued on Wednesday for severe thunderstorms bringing heavy rainfall from Lismore in northern NSW to the Snowy Mountains region.
“Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours,” the Bureau of Meteorology said.
