NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s crisis cabinet to discuss easing coronavirus restrictions by end of this week

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says her crisis cabinet will today discuss easing COVID restrictions with an announcement expected later this week.
Ms Berejiklian said people could look forward to soon welcoming more guests into their home and more certainty within the hospitality sector.
“In NSW our policy always is don’t keep restrictions or burden our citizens a day longer than you need to,” she said.
Currently, in the Greater Sydney region (which includes the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong) only five visitors can visit a household on any one day and no more than 30 people can gather outside.
Hospitality venues must allocate four square metres for every person.
