NSW economy at risk from Australian-Chinese tensions, leading expert warns

The New South Wales economy could be exposed if Chinese students do not return, a leading economist has warned, despite Premier Gladys Berejiklian saying she is not concerned by the escalating Chinese-Australian trade war.

Ms Berejiklian insists the political tension between the two countries and the tariffs China is imposing on certain goods and services are not having an effect on the state.
