New and concerning COVID clusters in Sydney’s northern beaches have authorities and Australians on high alert as the prospect of border restrictions looms ever closer.

Fifteen new coronavirus cases were identified on Thursday, with health authorities urging locals to stay at home as much as possible over the next three days.
