NSW health authorites said it appeared a transmission event had occurred, urging anyone who visited in the past fortnight to remain alert for symptoms.
Shoppers who attended a mall in Sydneys west in the past fortnight have been told to remain on high alert for COVID-19 symptoms after five new cases reported that they had attended the centre while infectious.
NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant on Friday said anyone who has visited Stockland Mall Wetherill Park in the past 14 days should be particularly vigilant for symptoms and seek testing.
