NRL warn players to cut out ‘ridiculous’ diving tactics – Fox Sports
NRL head of football elite competitions Graham Annesley has warned players against ridiculous diving tactics that threaten to subject the game to ridicule.
Speaking at his weekly press conference Annesley responded to the collision between Josh Morris and Jordan Rapana that left Ricky Stuart to declare the game is in danger of becoming like soccer.
Morris was bumped by Rapana while the pair contested a high-ball and fell back flailing his arms in a desperate bid to draw a penalty and Annesley said it was not a good look for the game.
