NRL clubs concerned over 18th man rule as emerging players are placed ‘under threat’ – Fox Sports
Several NRL clubs are concerned with the game’s decision to rush in the 18th man rule and the stipulation that only an emerging player can fill the new role.

The NRL announced on Tuesday it will introduce an 18th-man rule from Round 5 in direct response to a recent spate of injuries and concussions.
The Australian Rugby League Commission agreed in principle to the new law, which will allow clubs to activate an 18th man only when three players from a team have failed head injury assessments.
