Dubbo product Matt Burton starred with three tries as Penrith thrashed Souths at Apex Oval on Sunday.
It was as though local boy Matt Burton was back playing a junior game at Dubbo’s Apex Oval as he starred with a hat-trick in Penrith’s thumping 56-12 win over a stunned South Sydney on Sunday.
The damage was done by a relentless first-half onslaught in which the undefeated Panthers posted five tries. Burton helped himself to a double before the break while another proud Dubbo product, lock Isaah Yeo, set up a try.
