‘Andrew’s nephew’: Damien Cook sledges Matty Johns ahead of son’s Rabbitohs’ debut
Damien Cook has ripped Matty Johns with a cracking sledge ahead of his son Jacks expected NRL debut against the Raiders in Round 11. Half and back-rower Jack Johns was named in jersey No.17 for the Rabbitohs, but Cook said the club focuses more on his famous uncle than his dad when referring to the young rookie.
“We are referring to him as Andrew Johns’ nephew not Matty Johns’ son,” Cook joked on The Big Sports Breakfast.
