Swimmer Shayna Jack has been in contact with axed Cronulla star Bronson Xerri after he was suspended following a positive drugs test in May.
Xerri, who was subjected to blood testing last year, was told of his results just days before the NRL season restarted following the COVID-19 enforced shutdown.
