The musician says Trump’s 2020 campaign has “wilfully” ignored him despite lacking a licence to play his songs at rallies.
New York: Neil Young is suing US President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign, accusing it of copyright infringement for playing the rocker’s songs without permission.
In a complaint filed in US District Court in Manhattan on Tuesday, Young objected to the playing of Rockin’ in the Free World and Devil’s Sidewalk numerous times at rallies and political events, including a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 20 .
