Northern beaches residents contemplate Christmas alone due to coronavirus restrictions

People just kilometres away from loved ones will be forced to spend Christmas apart, with NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian yesterday confirming coronavirus restrictions for Sydney’s northern beaches.

North Narrabeen resident Natasha Shultz said she was yet to break it to her 82-year-old mother they would not spend the holiday together.

Her mother lives in aged care accommodation across the bridge in Narrabeen, one of the landmarks that mark the restriction boundary within the northern beaches.
