In July, Warner Bros. Pictures was the first to really take the gamble of releasing a big budget studio tentpole in cinemas since the coronavirus pandemic began.
That film of course was Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet,” a movie that was expected to make close to a billion dollars in normal times. The movie closed out its late Summer/early Fall run with just over one-third of a billion at the global box-office, performing quite well in the overseas markets where it was released and where the pandemic…
