Going by Nokia’s naming scheme, the Nokia 3.4 is the better device. But, that does not mean that the Nokia 2.4 is not worth getting. There are still some reasons why the cheaper option is the one to get.
The current lineup of Nokia devices is running close to vanilla Android software. This gives the devices a smooth running experience.
Unfortunately, the two new devices are not running on Android Go. It would have been better as Go software allows budget devices to run apps faster.
